There are approximately 33,000 seats available for the two-year DElEd program in various private and government colleges across Bihar. The number of successful candidates exceeds the available seats, and seat allocation will be based on the candidates’ marks in the entrance exam meeting the cut-off criteria.
How to Check Bihar DElEd Seat Allotment Result 2024
- Visit the official Bihar DElEd website at https://deledbihar.com/.
- Find and click on the ‘Selection/Merit List for two-year Diploma in Elementary Education link.
- Enter ‘Registration No.’ and ‘Date of Birth’ on the login page.
- Click ‘Submit’ to view your seat allotment result.
Note: If you are not allocated a seat in the initial round of counselling, don’t worry. The counselling process includes multiple rounds, providing additional opportunities for seat allocation.
Bihar DElEd Counseling 2024
The counselling process for the two-year DElEd program includes several stages:
- Result Announcement: The Bihar DElEd JET 2024 results were announced on June 16, 2024, in the form of a rank card by BSEB Patna.
- Registration and Choice Filling: After the result announcement, the registration and choice-filling window was open from June 20 to June 26, 2024.
- Merit List/Seat Allotment: The first merit/selection list for the two-year DElEd program admission was published on July 17, 2024.
- College Reporting: Satisfied candidates must download their allotment letters, pay any required admission fees, and carry printed copies along with other required documents to the allocated college for admission formalities. The reporting timeline is yet to be disclosed.
- Slide-Up Process: Unsatisfied candidates can participate in the ‘Slide-Up Process’ to potentially secure a better seat.
